Peter Hinrichs has been working as a professional entertainer for the last 35 years. He studied theater at the School of Performing and Visual Arts in San Diego, California and with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company at the University of California in Santa Barbara, California. He has been a part of over 250 different theatrical performances in Mexico, the USA and Canada. Using the pseudonym of Peter the Adequate, he has worked as a magician for most of his life and entertained millions around the world with his magic.
Peter is a proud member of the Society of American Magicians, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, past member of the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians and a past president of the Texas Association of Magicians. He is also one of the two co-founders and General Director of the famed Magic Camp in Austin, Texas. He recently returned to Austin, Texas, from a six year venture in Branson, Missouri where he performed in two of his own shows (“The Magic of Peter the Adequate” and “The Many Faces of Peter the Adequate”). In Branson he also performed with other shows (“2 Fluffy Women”, “The Theatreland Murders”, “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”, “Friday Night Live Cabaret” and “Friday After Dark Cabaret”). Currently he travels around the country performing, speaking and educating.
